Display a newsletter signup popup with optional media. Configure it in the theme editor's Popups group.
How to use it
- Open Compose in the theme editor, expand Popups, and edit or add Subscribe popup. Enable its visibility when ready.
- Edit the Heading, Text, and Email signup blocks. Keep the Email signup block to collect newsletter subscriptions.
- Set Type to After delay or Exit intent. For After delay, configure Open delay; for Exit intent, configure Open delay on mobile.
- Configure optional media, its position and width, and the content layout. Check the mobile image and crop when media is enabled.
- Set Maximum width, Color scheme, and Accessible label, then save.
- Test the trigger in a fresh private browser session and submit the signup form. Verify the subscription in Shopify admin's Customers area.
Good to know
- Exit intent uses the pointer leaving the top of the browser window on supported desktop devices. Touch devices use the mobile delay instead.
- Closing the popup is remembered for the current browser session. Use a new private session when retesting.
- When Age restriction is also enabled, the signup popup waits until the age dialog is cleared.
- A popup or signup message seen in the theme editor is not proof that a real storefront subscription has been submitted.
