What it is: Show complementary or related products, recently viewed products, or products from the store's All collection. Configure this section on a product template.
How to use it
- Open a product template in the theme editor and choose Add section → Recommended products.
- Choose Source: Complementary products, Related products, Recently viewed, or Most popular.
- Configure the section's heading and card blocks, then choose the supported layout Style and product count controls.
- Adjust card presentation, colors, spacing, and carousel controls where available.
- Check desktop and mobile previews, then save.
Good to know
- Complementary and Related products depend on Shopify recommendation data for the product being viewed; an empty response can hide the section.
- Recently viewed uses that visitor's browser history. Visit several different product pages before testing it; a fresh private session starts without that history.
- Most popular displays the All collection's products in its existing order, excluding the current product. Review that collection's ordering before using this source; the theme does not calculate a separate popularity ranking.
- Keep the product count compact and test empty results on desktop and mobile.
